The Speedmaster is best known as Omega’s legendary Moonwatch, but the Speedmaster 38 collection is a very different take on the famous chronograph. Introduced to bring a broader range of sizes, colors, and materials to the lineup, these watches retain the core DNA of the Speedmaster while embracing a more refined and contemporary aesthetic. The example you see here pairs stainless steel with 18k Sedna™ gold, Omega’s proprietary rose gold alloy, creating a warm and luxurious look that feels worlds apart from a traditional Moonwatch. The dial is particularly distinctive, featuring a soft “cappuccino” color palette with oval chronograph registers and an equally unique vertical oval date window at 6 o’clock. Surrounding the dial is a dual-bezel design, coupling a brown tachymeter scale with a diamond-set outer bezel for an extra touch of elegance.
